The World Without War Council of Greater Seattle (WWWC) is one member of a national organization concerned with war and peace, hunger, human rights, etc. Beginning as Turn Toward Peace in 1961, it established the World Without War Council of Greater Seattle in December 1965 to "...seek alternatives to organization for war."

Scope and Content: Correspondence, mailings, reports, conferences and conventions, writings, clippings, ephemera, and subject series.
Stephen Boyd was a fellow at Harvard University's Center for International Affairs after he left Seattle's World Without War Council. During his time at Harvard from 1982-1983, he was assistant to the President, Robert Pickus, of the national World Without War Council. Records in this accession were in Boyd's personal possession when donated in 1989. Some of them concern WWWC nationally rather than merely the Seattle office.
