Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Jeanette Lozovsky was born in 1941 in Russia and grew up in Siberia and then Kiev. She, her husband, and her two sons emigrated to the United States in 1975, first living in Dallas and then moving to Seattle. In 1988, Lozovsky began working for Jewish Family Service as Director of Refugee Services.

1 compact disc and 1 transcript of oral history interview conducted on May 4, 2009 (65 minutes) by Emily Shaffer. Lozovsky describes her childhood in Russia and the emigration of her family to the United States in 1975. The bulk of the interview concerns her work as Director of Refugee Services for the Jewish Family Service where she directed efforts to resettle immigrants.
