Videotape copy of filmed gala opening celebration of the Edmond S. Meany Hotel in the University District of Seattle. The short, surviving segment shows the arrival of local dignitaries at the hotel and ends with Professor and Mrs. Meany signing the guest register. Also included is a symbolic key, presented by Starwood Lodging Corp. which renovated the hotel and restored its original name in 1997; 1931, 1997.
