Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Elmer Jurgensen collected the papers of his grandparents, Gerhard and Sine, who emigrated from Denmark to Iowa in 1873. There are letters for the Iowa years (to 1879), then Nebraska in 1879 to the early 1880's. They moved to Wilbur, Washington about 1885. Sine died in 1901, and Gerhard in 1905.
