Sutherlin, Oregon is located in one of the many valleys between the Cascade Mountain Range and the Coastal Mountain Range. Sutherlin was incorporated in 1911.

Two albums are in this collection, containing 219 black and white photographs of Sutherlin and Roseburg, Oregon, circa 1911. One of the albums belonged to Charles G. Glen as noted by his name appearing on the cover of the smaller album. Per the 1910 census, Charles G. Glen was born about 1887 in Douglas, Oregon. Not much else is known about him.
