Imogene Miller Robbin photograph collection, circa 1870s-1970s

The collection consists of 394 black and white mounted and unmounted photographs, cartes de visite, cabinet card photographs, photographic postcards, and tintypes; 10 albums with 1,232 black and white and color snapshots; ephemera such correspondence, certificates, logbooks, diaries, funeral records, labor union membership books, etc. All materials related to Imogene Miller Robbin, her mother's family (Nielsen and Hansen), her father's family (Miller), her husband (John M. "Bud" Robbin), and her husband's family, especially his Aunt and her husband (Emma and Fred MacKenzie). All 1870s to 1970s.

Although most of the collection consists of formal studio portraits or informal snapshots of family members and family groups (many unidentified), there are also images of the Portland Fire Department (1914); Portland Rose Parade (1920); residences in Seattle and elsewhere; open casket funerals.
