Conrad B. Harrison served as mayor of Salt Lake City in 1975. He was involved with various municipal projects, some of which are documented in this collection. He was also a supporter of the Utah State Symphony Orchestra of which he wrote a book titled, 5,000 Concerts: A Commemorative History of the Utah Symphony.

The Conrad B. Harrison papers (1913-1980s) consist of materials realting to the Salt Lake International Airport Expansion Project, the Utah State Symphony Orchestra, Salt Lake City Government, and community programs. Most of the materials are in the form of correspondence, meeting minutes, budget reports, pamphlets, maps, photographs, and audio cassette tapes.
