Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Dr. Shih-Kung Kao (1918-) was a Chinese born American citizen who earned his bachelors of science from National Tsing Hua University (1939), masters degree from Univeristy of California (1948), and his Ph. D. from the University of California (1952). Kao was both a professor for (1960) and Chairman of (1972) the University of Utah's Department of Meteorology. Kao's research and work regarding atmospheric sciences was refrenced by private organizations as well as governmental organizations including the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Agriculture.
