Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Edward O. Anderson (1891-1977) was born in Richfield, Utah. He married Nettie Mary Hawley in 1918. He graduated from the Carnegie Institute of Technology and opened an architectural office in Salt Lake City, where he worked for 50 years. Anderson was appointed supervising architect of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served as the sole architect of the Los Angeles Temple and designed the London, Berne, and New Zealand Temples. Nettie Anderson died in 1971 and Edward O Anderson died in 1977.
