Wendell B. McDaniel (1920-2008) was the project manager at Electron, Upper and Lower Baker, and Nooksak Dams.
Historical BackgroundReturn to Top
The Lower Baker River Dam, located in Skagit County, Washington, was completed in 1925. It is 285 feet high and 550 feet in length and can hold a little over 160 thousand acre feet of water. The dam is operated by Puget Sound Energy for the Baker River Hydroelectric Project.
