The collection maps focus primarily on the Siletz Reservation following a series of land reductions caused by the Presidential Order of December 21, 1865, Act of March 3, 1875, and 1892 “Surplus Lands” Agreement. Maps documenting tribal member allotments are included. A 1981 topographic map depicts the Siletz Reservation established in 1980, three years following the restoration of Siletz tribal status.
