Pamela Schubert was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1944. She moved to Vashon Island in 1979 and has been active in the Jewish community there.

Schubert discusses the history of the Jewish community on Vashon Island from their first settlement in 1880s to the development of a Chavarah, Havurat Ee Shalom.
