Alvin H. Goldstein (1902-1972) was a journalist with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for more than 40 years. He won the Pulitzer Prize in 1925 when he was working for the Chicago Daily News and reporting on the murder of Robert Franks Jr. and the trial of Nathan F. Leopold and Richard Loeb. He also published pieces on national politics, women and travel.
