A paper, "Mormon Exaggerations," and a transcript of a speech, "Mormonism's Connection to the British Enlightenment," both by Marchant, continue the development of the perspectives presented in Whitsitt's book. This collection also contains two pamphlets. The first, "Mormon Roots," is an expansion of Marchant's earlier work, "Mormon Exaggerations," adding sections on the ancestry and psychological makeup of Joseph Smith.
