Historical NoteReturn to Top

Ailene Booth Dunbar of Grants Pass, Oregon was a graduate of Willamette University. Her father, Elmer Everett Dunbar, was involved in the Grants Pass lumber industry. Ailene received a Certificate in Public School Music from Willamette on June 12, 1918, and participated in a number of related music recitals and Glee Club events. She was described in the 1917-1918 Wallulah as having a sunny temperament and a good work ethic.
