Collection includes photographs of University of Washington College of Mines field trips to Index and Alki Point (Prospectors Course, 1946), miscellaneous mining shots from the Cascades, and views of the Denny hill Regrade (1920). Lantern slides depict Northwest scenes including the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition (AYPE); totems; flora; bison; caribou; Alaska (Seward and Bartlett glacier); and Puget Mill in Port Gamble. Other lantern slides depict mining in Burke, Idaho; New Jersey; Michigan; Butte, Montana; Johannesburg, South Africa; and Burmingham, Alabama.
