Historical NoteReturn to Top
Charles N. Settele was born in January 1871 at Terre Haute, Indiana. He moved to Laramie with his family in 1886. Settele began working for W.C. Wilson in his Laramie drugstore, and after a year purchased Wilson’s stock, taking full ownership of the business. He ran his drugstore for 17 years in Laramie becoming a well-known pharmacist throughout Wyoming. After almost two decades Settele sold the business and moved on to become the Wyoming and Colorado District Manager for the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company.
