Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Clifford Snow was born Feb. 8, 1911, raised in Hoquiam, and was a long-time resident of Grays Harbor. He married Katie McClellan in 1942 in Alexandria, La., where he was in Army boot camp. He recieved several decorations for his service in Europe during WWII. Before his service in WWII, Clifford Snow was manager at the 7th Street Theater in Hoquiam, and prior to that he was responsible for the display boards in the Fox theater lobbies. The 7th Street Theater was the first theater in Washington to be able to screen "talkies". He died March 11, 1997.
