Historical NoteReturn to Top
Responding to the urban unrest of the 1960s, President Odegaard established an Urban Activities Division under the Vice Provost and directed by James A. Goodman (1970-1971), succeeded by Harold Amoss, then by Theresa de Shepro. Its concern was broadened from one concerned with minorities to covering urban and regional studies generally.
