Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Edwin Ulrich Moser was born to Joseph and Anna F. Moser in Whitney, Idaho on June 2, 1899. He served in the Student Army Club Training Corps in 1918 and the Reserve OfficersTraining Corps at Utah State Agricultural College from 1919 to 1920. After his involvement in the ROTC, Moser served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Zealand from November 1920 to November 1923. In 1927, Moser graduated from USAC and married Faye A. Yeaman in the Logan, Utah, Temple on June 22. Moser was employed as a city engineer for Logan, Assistant State Aeronautics Director, Cache County Engineer, and a private land surveyor.
Moser was also involved in many organizations including the Logan Lion’s club, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Erwin U. Moser died on May 15, 1995 in Logan, Utah.

This collection contains papers relating to Moser’s engineering career and membership records pertaining to his involvement various organizations. Most of the papers relate to engineering projects in Cache Valley including irrigation, sewer, and other water projects. These papers include legal and administrative documents, blueprints, correspondence, and planning notes.
Additional documents are associated with the professional organizations of which Moser was a part, such as the Logan Lions Club or the American Society of Civil Engineers. These documents include of pamphlets, organizational records, correspondence, and agendas.
