Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Lilly Jespersen Kain Anderson's maiden name was Jespersen. She was born in about 1905 and died in 1977. In about 1901, her parents, Viggo and Karen Jespersen, emigrated from Denmark to Washington State where Lilly was born. Her grandfather, Niels Peter Jespersen, remained in Denmark and died there in about 1918. In 1920, Lilly married George Kain who had a plumbing business in Seattle. Lilly ran the business after the death of her husband. She retired and later married Ray Anderson.
