Biographical Note

Warren Wooster, Professor Emeritus in Marine Studies and Fisheries, directed the University of Washington's Institute for Marine Studies from 1976-1982. He was instrumental in the creation and development of PICES (North Pacific Marine Science Organization), an organization concerned with the scientific investigation of the North Pacific Ocean.
