Historical NoteReturn to Top

Marilyn Shuler led the Idaho Human Rights Commission, including the era in which the Aryan Nations group was active in the state. Shuler was involved with the Boise School Board, the City Club of Boise, and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Boise State University. She also served on the board for Boise State's College of Public Affairs and the Idaho Center for Fiscal Policy. She held degrees from the University of Utah and Boise State University and received honorary doctorates from Boise State University and the University of Idaho. She co-founded the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial with Lisa Uhlmann.
