Walter Henry Huish was born on 31 October 1827, in Uley, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom. He married Ann Smith (1829-1880) on 12 June 1848, in West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England, United Kingdom. In 1859 they immigrated to Utah. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. Ann died on 22 April 1880 at the age of 50. Walter died on 27 March 1898 at the age of 70. Both are buried in Payson City Cemetery, Payson, Utah, United States.
