Francine Seders papers, 1923-2014

Scope and Content: Includes a tape-recorded interview of Francine Seders conducted by Sally Swenson on August 11, 1974. Covering the years 1960-1974, Seders discusses her art gallery, the artists she represented, art criticism, art in Europe and the United States, and the art collector. She refers to the "Northwest School," the Horiuchi Mural at Seattle Center, the Henry Moore Sculpture at the Seattle 1st Bank, the Robert Maki Sculpture at the Sea-Tac Airport, and the City of Seattle 1%25 for Art Program.

Scope and Content: Collection primarily includes artist files which contain photographs, correspondence, original artwork (cards sent to Seders by artists), clippings, exhibit guides and invitations, newsletters, exhibit filesm, ephemera, artist biographies and resumes.
