Historical NoteReturn to Top

United States Wheat Associates was originally the Western Wheat Associates (WWA), an organization founded in April of 1959 to expand international markets for wheat from the Pacific Northwest. In 1980, the WWA merged with the Great Plains Wheat Market Development Association to form the United States Wheat Associates, with a focus on adjusting to the global wheat marketplace and dealing with a growing demand for United States wheat classes. United States Wheat Associates work to help wheat buyers, millers, bakers, wheat food processors, and government officials understand the quality, value, and reliability of all six classes of U.S. wheat.
