Historical NoteReturn to Top

William Call was born in the late 1940s. Call attended Utah State University from 1956 to 1958. He received a B.A. degree in 1964 and an M.A. degree in 1966 from Brigham Young University with emphasis in music composition. His compositions include chamber pieces, a suite for string orchestra, two cantatas for orchestra and choir, six symphonies, and three operas, among many others. He has also written several books and served as president and chief executive officer of Maverick Country Stores from 1983 to 1999.
