Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Baden Powell (1937-2000) was a guitarist from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was known for his unique combinations of classical techniques with popular harmony and swing. He won talent compositions before he was a teenager, and by the time he was 15 he was performing professionally. His first solo album was released in 1961, and he continued to record and perform throughout his life.
