Historical NoteReturn to Top
The National Reclamation Association was organized in 1932 to represent interests of the seventeen western reclamation states. The association has worked with the Bureau of Reclamation in passing authorization for the Colorado River Storage Project, the Columbia River Basin development, and the Central Arizona Project, among others.
Content DescriptionReturn to Top
The National Reclamation Association records (1945-1946) consist mainly of correspondence to and from Ora Bundy, president of the association from 1944-1946. Most of the correspondence concerns internal business matters. Few of the letters actually discuss reclamation concerns, such as the development of the Upper Colorado River Basin. The collection also includes three issues of the association's bulletin, minutes, announcements, resolutions, and statements.
