The Zonta Club is a global service organization of executive and professional women founded in Buffalo, New York, in 1919. The organization is dedicated to the global advancement of women. Zonta members volunteer their time and resources to local and international service programs, as well as promote scholarship and award programs for women’s education.

The Zonta Club of Missoula, charter no. 494, was established in Missoula, Montana, on October 10, 1961. The Missoula club held fundraisers to support scholarship programs for young women. They supported YWCA programs to prevent violence against women, various mental health issues, and many other causes.
