Ann Wechsler lobbied on behalf of the Save Our Canyon campaign and the Utah Chapter of the Sierra Club when the Snowbasin land exchange was promoted by the US Forest Service, prior to the 2002 Winter Olympics. Ann was a trustee of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee, and served as an environmental representative during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah.
