"So Chun Bo was born in Guangzhou and is widely known as a zheng player, teaching at the Hong Kong Chinese University and performing locally and abroad. A member of the Hong Kong Ethnomusicology Society, Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Folk Music Association, So is also the Principal of the Hong Kong Guzheng Academy. He has composed and arranged over 80 zheng works and made numerous recordings.
