Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Mitchell (1860-1944) converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in 1882, when he was 22 years of age. He served a mission within the Scottish Conference which included the areas of Airdrie, Ayr, Burnbank, Glasgow, Lanark, and Newarthill. Mitchell was officially released from his missionary duties in 1899.
