Henrietta (Frauenthal) Newberger (died April 7, 1934) was mother to siblings Caroline "Carrie" Newberger (died July 16, 1926), Blanche H. Newberger (Mrs. Samuel R. Stern), Joseph H. Newberger, who was a vice president of the Seattle National Bank, (died December 1982), and Meyer A. Newberger (died August 15, 1951). Henrietta's brothers Jacob, Samuel, and Joseph Frauenthal were early Jewish residents of Seattle who established one of the first general merchandise stores at First Avenue South and Yesler Way in the 1860s.
