The log building in the center of the photo is the original log chapel of Our Saviour's Lutheran Mission Church on the Rocky Boy's Reservation. A large number of parked cars is parked near the buildings. The vintage of the cars in the photograph suggest the photo was taken in the early to mid-1930s. A number of people, perhaps the congregration, stand outside the chapel. The chapel is near Boxelder Creek.
