Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Ghery Pettit taught Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University (WSU) from 1961-1991. Prior to his tenure at Washington State University, Pettit graduated from the University of California, Davis. Pettit specialized in small animal surgery, in particular, orthopedic surgery and the treatment of spinal disc problems. Pettit served on the American College of Veterinary Surgeons Board of Regents, edited Veterinary Surgery, and was a member on the Washington Veterinary Board of Governors.
