Scrapbook of student life and events at Oregon College of Education. Scrapbook also recorded as S-37 in an earlier registry.
Scrapbook materials were collected by Martha Hill, who served as executive secretary to the president and oversaw the mimeograph department at the college. Ellis Stebbins, Dean of Administration, wrote a letter describing the history of the scrapbook and included some handwritten notes throughout the book.

This collection contains one scrapbook related to student life and events at Oregon College of Education. The unbound scrapbook is 14.5 x 12 x 1.5 inches with the caption "Scrapbook" on the cover. The scrapbook contains numerous topics and formats, including photographs, posters, flyers, programs, and correspondence. Printed photographs are intermixed in the scrapbook and include May Day coronation, cheerleaders, and student body officers.
Student clubs and groups represented in the scrapbook include: Crimson O Players, Associated Students of Oregon College of Education (ASOCE), Phi Beta Sigma, Collecto-Coeds, Staff and Key, Band, and men’s athletics (football and basketball). Other groups found inside the scrapbook include: Western Oregon Area Student Christian Association, Faculty Club, Alumni Association, and OCE Dads.
Abundance of programs for the music, dance, and theater departments (ensembles, recitals, choir), football, Homecoming, Play Day, Freshman Days, Chapel Service, May Day, commencement, Vesper concerts, Educational Conference, Christian Emphasis Conference, Dads Weekend, and Mother’s Weekend. The student handbook from 1947-1948 is included.
