Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Fannie Coe's father, Aaron Shifrin, fled Harbin, China, in 1915, leaving a prosperous lumber business. Fannie and her mother sailed the following year, meeting Mr. Shifrin in Seattle. David Coe was born in Longbranch, Washington.
