Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Harold Bauman, PhD, was an Associate Professor of History of Science and Medicine at the University of Utah. He joined the faculty in 1965, and was awarded the prestigious University Distinguished Teaching Award in 1972. Among his many accomplishments, he established the Kepler Society with funds through which he was able to support the research of many students; he published an article on the history of medical insurance that has been widely cited; and he served on Mayor Rocky Anderson's Ethics Committee.
