Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Board member and officer of Tahoma Audubon Society (vice-president) and Washington Environmental Council (board 1973-1980, president 1976-1978). Served on citizens' advistory committees for: Pierce County and Tacoma Shorelines Master Programs (1970-1978), State Forest Practices (1974-1981), State Water Supply. Board member, Columbia River Citizens Compact. As a writer, contributed to Pacific Northwest Magazine (Pacific Search) and WEC newsletters. Gave speeches at conferences and lobbied in Olympia for WEC. Through WEC, served on committees regarding Family Farm Water Act, 1-59, and others.
