Inside cover states, "A list of individuals inprisoned for polygamy or unlawful cohabitation copied from 'Prisoners for Conscience Sake,' a document prepared from court records of convictions during the campaign against polygamy. This information was obtained by Mack Nicolaysen thru the cooperation of Andrew Jensen, Assistant Church Historian, LDS Church. The list was prepared during January and February of 1934." Handwritten list of 888 Latter Day Saint men and women imprisoned in Utah for polygamy or unlawful cohabitation under the Edmunds and Edmunds-Tucker Laws.
