.28 cubic foot (including 6 5" reel to reel tapes, 7 sound cassettes, 3 spiral notebooks, ca. 100 pages of loose notes)

Scope and Content: Tape recordings and research materials on Spokane Salish language, 1979 and Thompson language, 1981.

The reel-to-reel tapes and field notes are for Spokane Salish; the 7 cassettes of Thompson were recorded at Lytton, B.C., in 1981. The folkloric text on Tape 1 is in Lytton Thompson, of which another version is given in James Teit. Review of text is on tapes 2 and 3.
