Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Cameron "Kay" Neumann ran the Kay Lumber Company. Neumann went to Alaska after the Nome Fire of 1934 where he married Lenore Peterson in 1935.

Album and loose photographs apparently belonging to Kay Neumann of Kay Lumber Company. The 191 images in the album include scenes before and after the Nome Fire, reindeer, dog sledding, whaling and Alaska natives. Also included are later pictures (1955) of the Bellevue City Club, Ernst Hardware, Kay's Lumber Company and aerial views of Bellevue.
