Born May 28, 1829 in Orleans, Mass. Died May 4, 1889 in Waterville Minn. Surveyor for Canadian Pacific Railway and Great Northern Railway. Surveyed the Rogers Pass route in the Selkirk Mountains in 1881. He later settled in Waterville, Wash. Terr.
