Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Born in 1889 near Riga, Mr. Feinberg came to the U.S. in 1908 and to Seattle in 1910. In 1911, he began working in produce in Pike Place Market, and opened his own business (with Nathan Katz) in 1913. He operated this business until 1965.
