Multi-disciplinary committee which met at least once a month to adopt, implement and monitor a comprehensive hospital-wide safety program. The Safety Committee was authorized by the Hospital Administrator through the chairperson or Safety Officer, to take immediate action when a hazardous condition existed that could result in personal injury to individuals or damage to the building or equipment.
