Arrangement
The materials consist of two bound volumes of class notes from Harvard Medical School from 1903-1905. Most of the notes were taken in pen, though a small fraction is in pencil. The volumes are in very good condition with very little deterioration of paper or ink. The edges are slightly brittle and with some evidence of acidity. The material had been bound and cataloged as part of the library collection but has been deaccessioned and put into the archival collection instead. The notes are thus bound into 2 seperate volumes: Volume 1 consist of primarily lectures on chemistry, the skin and obstetrics, while volume 2 concentrates on medical/surgical lectures.
