Content Description

The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Princess Timpanogos Chapter records (1960-2008) include the chapter's meeting minutes from its inception in February 1960. The collection also contains books, historian's correspondence, newsletters, certificates, meeting minutes, and scrapbooks. The minutes of the meetings give a year-to-year written report of chapter activities and the scrapbooks give a visual and in-depth coverage of the organization. Proclamations from Salt Lake City Mayor Palmer A. DePaulis declaring "Centennial Week" in 1989, and Governor Michael O. Leavitt proclaiming "Constitution Week" in the State of Utah in 1994.

The second scrapbook continues on from 1979 to 1986.
