Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Charles Gustave Larson (1873-1951) was born in Multrop, Sweden to Andres Gustave Larson and Annie Sophia Sunquist. In 1875 the family immigrated to Utah settling in Grantsville. In 1899, Charles was called on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) to the Southern States. After his mission, he returned to Oakley, Idaho where he met Nancy Louisa Perry. They were married in the Salt Lake City temple in 1902. In 1918 his wife died. He then married Annie Lee Frazelle in 1919 in Twin Falls, Idaho. They had met while on his mission to the Southern States in North Carolina. Larson spent many years working for the Oakley Co-op and was active in the LDS church.
