Marsh was an instructor in Anthropology at the University of British Columbia when he recorded these notebooks.
Content Description
Field notes of linguistic research.
Research in Shuswap (Interior Salish) from the 1950's. The loose pages also have some Squamish, and one sheet a bit of Aleut. They are practice exercises for instructing student in recording native languages.
